Which brings Rosedale to one next development that intrigues him as much as the world he's created: "I think there are interesting questions about this whole thing of computers thinking," he says. "The next thing beyond SL is whether things in there can think."

Nice to see that Philip and I are thinking (!) along the same lines.

Celestia

Celestia is the modern version of the old star mapping programme I converted from an Apple II listing in the Liverpool Software Gazette into first BBC Micro and then the Atari. It was a great programme to travel the stars.
